The Bracco Italiano Club Of America (BICA) was founded in 2007 and is the official National Breed Club for Bracco Italiano in the United States. We encourage you to explore links and resources provided on our website that will tell you more about this very special rare breed of dog, the responsibilities and the joys of owning a Bracco Italiano, and more about the club and its activities.

We hope that you find our site useful in providing educational materials that are designed to promote responsible and intelligent breeding  and ownership of our breed. Whether our Bracchi are family companions or active in a myriad of activities such as hunting, hunt tests, conformation, obedience, agility, barn hunt, or dock diving, all of us are ambassadors of the breed we hold dear. Responsible stewardship of the Bracco Italiano is an obligation that should not be taken lightly.

A Bracco Italiano is not a breed for all individuals and situations! If you are contemplating a Bracco Italiano as a breed for you or your family, we strongly encourage you to do your research. Find the breeder that is right for you! Please contact the Bracco Italiano Club of America if you have any questions.

A quarterly publication is produced with articles about the Bracco Italiano along with local & national information as well as photos. It is a great way to get started learning about the breed and the Bracco Italiano World. Information on how to subscribe and how to join BICA can be found by going to the Membership link.

We would also like to direct your attention to the Illustrated Commentary, it is one of the very best illustrated standards produced. Study the Illustrated Commentary prior to purchasing any puppy; talk to breeders and make an informed decision.Let us help! If you have any questions regarding the Bracco Italiano after visiting our site, please e-mail us and we will try to help you find the answers. This site, as with any other web site, is always under development. Check back often for new additions. Please send any comments or suggestions as well as any errors you encounter to our club secretary Megan Waters at braccoitalianoclubofamericabod@gmail.com or our Digital Assets committee chair Kailee Joyner @bassetandbracco@gmail.com
